Meet the Team

Clay (NMLS #168365) is the owner/broker of Signet Mortgage. He started it in 2003 after a career in corporate finance and as a practicing CPA. As “principal problem solver” Clay leads the group and is responsible for figuring out the best way to structure transactions and get them done. Clay hikes with Rori (border collie) up the hill close to his home on a daily basis before sunrise. Clay, his wife Jai and pup Rori, like to get outside in their Sprinter van traveling all over the country with National Parks as the common destination. They have three adult kids and seven grandkids.

Rica (NMLS # 1977912 ) is a Loan Partner making sure transactions go smoothly, researching options and resolving the inevitable issues that arise before anyone knows they were a problem. Rica has over 10+ years of experience as a loan partner, loan officer and processor. Rica lives in Las Vegas and enjoys eating out, watching movies, visiting with friends and staying home with her dog. She has a daughter and son in law that live in Montana and hopes to have grandkids soon.

Michelle lives in Arizona and is the person that keeps the back office in order so we can focus on serving clients and referral partners. She has four adult children and enjoys reading, volleyball and hiking in her free time.

Sandy is a 30+ year veteran of the mortgage industry having run her own wholesale mortgage company. Sandy’s experience is particularly useful when we want to qualify a borrower in an unusual situation. Sandy is semi-retired, living in west Reno with Michael. She is gracious to help out when needed and her experience is invaluable.

Dave (NMLS #283206) leads the Idaho branch and is a veteran of the mortgage industry. He has extensive experience working through complicated transactions and enjoys helping individuals build wealth through real estate. He has been married to Satu for 30+ years and enjoys hiking, spending time with the grandkids and travelling.

Jeff (NMLS# 220821) can be found in the state of Washington helping reverse mortgage clients. He enjoys helping others through mortgage financing and spending time with his wife and their horses.
